My first project ever!!! This cabinet was due for a major makeover!
We started off by removing all of the doors and hardware.
Remove the existing paint. We used a paint stripper to remove all of the black paint. This is quick and easy alternative to sanding off the paint.
Sand and Prime
Once the paint is removed, sand down any areas where the wood may be a bit rough. Then prime the base with a white Rustoleum Spray Paint. Then paint with a semi gloss paint, about 3 coats.
Paint the hardware:
While the cabinet is drying, spray paint the hardware black using a Rustoleum High Performance Enamel, about 2 coats. This creates a beautiful contrast against the crisp white base.
