Mix Concrete
Using professional grade cement for countertops, follow the instructions and mix the concrete. Should be the consistency of pancake mix. Using a mix that is for Countertops will give you that glass finish!
Oil both pots to prevent sticking. When mixing we suggest getting a drill bit that has a whisk like tip.
Fill the first bowl and gently tap or shake it to remove the bubbles. Then slowly place the second bowl within the first, weighing it down to the desired depth.
Allow to dry overnight. If you are patient, we aren’t lol, 3 days and it will be fully dry!
Seal & Get Cook’n!
Then seal the outside with a protective enamel. Do not spray the inside since this is flammable and we will have be using the canister flames in the center.
We then used a metal vegetable tin for the top!
