Week two down with the One Room Challenge! Can you believe it! This week we have started with we painted everything!

Last Week Review!
Last week we hung up the board & baton. We also primed with the Kilz All-Purpose paint. But only on the spots that needed it since the boards are primed already!
Optional: Once dry, tape out top wall with masking tape. Paint desired color for an added pop!
Let’s Paint!
But first we have to tape off everything! We taped off the sides, floor, and walls. When we tape the floor we used painters paper as well as blue tape.
PAINTING TIME!
We went with the PPG – Whiskers (PPG1025-3) Paint color. This is an awesome affordable brand! I would check them out for sure. We did two coats on all of the board & baton. Plus some touch ups. Below is the PPG picture of how it looks in the space!

Then to Paint the accent above!
This part was tricky! I wanted to do a couple of things! But really didn’t know how to achieve the look! Do I do a swipe or a dot?!?! The struggle was real guys!
Then I (Laura) just went for it! I did a combination of both shapes. Which only took me an hour to do. Which is amazing.
What’s Next!
This next week we are focusing on painting the faucet/handles and adding some towel hooks!
Over the next 8 weeks we will be doing a ton of DIY project for this room! We will need your help to make the final decisions!
